Welcome to Self-Guided Arrabida! Discover the stunning beauty of my home through hiking programs that I have thoughtfully crafted, with trails my family has enjoyed for generations. Explore breathtaking landscapes and local culture at your own pace. Join us in uncovering the wonders of Arrábida!
We have been exploring Arrábida’s trails since childhood and we are still in awe of the incredible variety of landscapes packed into this small yet stunning region. From lush valleys and scenic ridge walks to rich history, charming villages, and breathtaking ocean and city views, Arrábida truly has it all—all just a stone’s throw from Lisbon.
We have created a seamless way to discover the region’s hidden gems, backed by local insights and thoughtful logistics. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a unique escape, we make it easy to experience Arrábida.
Born from a love of the outdoors and a passion for self-guided adventures, our hiking experiences gives you the freedom to explore Setúbal at your own pace—without the stress of planning.
We have spent years living and working abroad, but Setubal has always been our home. While we have explored trails around the world, there’s something deeply meaningful about returning to the paths that shaped us. This project is our way of sharing that, inviting others to experience the beauty, history, and soul of the place we call home.
We are Ines and Julio. We have hiked and cycles thousands of kilometres together, from pilgrimages in Japan and coastal hikes in South Korea, to thru hikes in Turkey; from Taiwan's peaks to Scotland; from Normandy to the Japanese islands and from The St James Way to Picos da Europa.
We’re not a travel company — just two people who seek adventure, fair trails, and authenticity. Hiking has been a lifelong passion—an opportunity to connect with nature, others and ourselves, one step at the time.
